Installation Guide
Required Tools & Materials: No power tools are required, however the following tools will be needed for best results.
4’ Level, Saw (Miter Saw, Jigsaw, Fine Tooth Hand Saw or Utility Knife), Pencil, J-roller, Dust Mask.
Prior To Installation: Please follow all pre-installation instructions.
Allow planks to acclimate by placing them in the installation location for 48-72 hours prior to installation.
Woody Walls Peel and Stick Wood Planks are suitable for a diverse variety of surfaces, including walls, ceilings, doors, backsplashes, kitchen cabinets, and headboards.
Inspect planks thoroughly prior to installation.
Use appropriate caution while working around wall outlets and light switches.
Maintain location temperature at 60-75ºF for a few days prior to installation, as well as during and after installation.
DO NOT install as flooring.
DO NOT install in locations with humidity above 80% (e.g. bathroom) or where the temperature exceeds 125ºF (e.g. near a fireplace or heater), unless you follow our additional instructions for these locations.
Installation Guide: For best results, please follow these instructions.
Prior to installation, thoroughly clean the mounting surface. Remove all debris, dust, grease, cover plates, and protruding nails.
Use planks from different bundles to ensure an even mix of colors.
Dry-lay planks before permanently installing to create your desired pattern (see our Installation Designs section below), especially if you are working with multi-color planks.
Using a pencil and a 4’ level, draw a line across the wall 5 inches below the ceiling to create a reference line.
Using the reference line as a guide, begin with a starter row of planks. Peel the paper off the back to expose the adhesive and place the first plank in the starter row, groove side up, along your line. Press into place, then continue with each of the next planks in the row.
The 3M adhesive is pressure sensitive. After placing your starter row, use the J-Roller to apply firm and steady pressure along the entire row of planks. Ensure that steady, even pressure is applied to the entire surface of the starter row.
When installing your starter and bottom rows, cut the planks lengthwise using a jigsaw or table saw. When cutting or trimming planks, always use a dust mask to protect against inhaling any dust or debris. Use a sanding block to smooth edges if needed.
Care & Cleaning Instructions: Proper care and cleaning helps maximize durability and preserve a brand-new look.
Woody Walls Peel and Stick Wood Planks are made from real pine wood. For best care results, use a dry cloth for cleaning.
Do not use any abrasive cleaners, polishes, waxes or oil-based products on planks.
Wall décor, such as mirrors, pictures, TVs or electronics, and shelves can be mounted by drilling through the planks and using industry standard techniques for installation on the underlying substrate.
Installation Designs: We recommend choosing from the following designs for your installation.
Alternate horizontal installation design
Alternate vertical installation design

FAQs
Woody Walls peel and stick wood panels are a fast, convenient way to add style and flair to any space. With a variety of colors and textures to choose from, you can transform any wall into an eye-catching statement piece in less than a day. Are you considering adding peel and stick wood panels to your home or office space but still have questions? Here are the answers to the more frequently asked questions about our peel and stick wood panels.
Do Peel and Stick Wood Panels Damage Walls?
Woody Walls peel and stick panels utilize semi-permanent self-adhesive tape for their application. If you choose to remove Woody Walls panels, you will need to pry them from the wall. Once the planks are detached, the adhesive will need to be removed from the work surface, and some minor repairs may need to be made. To reduce damage, we recommend installing plywood on the wall before your Woody Walls installation. This way, you won’t have to repair your entire wall after removal, only the areas where the holes were drilled.
How Much Do Peel and Stick Wood Panels Cost?
At Woody Walls, we pride ourselves on providing quality products at an affordable price designed to fit any budget. All our 100% real wood peel and stick panels - no matter the variety - are reasonably priced at $7.64 per square foot, with each box of peel and stick paneling costing just $149. In addition to our budget-friendly price, all our products ship free to anywhere in the US and Canada, helping keep your project cost down so you can do more with your budget.
How Do You Install Peel and Stick Wood Panels?
Our peel and stick panels are designed to make the remodeling process quick and simple for any skill level. With no power tools or extra adhesives required for a standard application, DIY wood paneling has never been easier. Each panel comes with self-adhesive tape that makes installation as simple as peeling and sticking, making our wood wall panels suitable for DIY projects and commercial installations alike. Each panel is expertly milled for the perfect fit! Before application, we have a few recommendations: Give your panels time to acclimate to the space where they will be installed, at least 48 hours. It is important to ensure the application surface is dry and completely clean of dust and debris before you start to ensure proper adhesion. Inspect your panels for any warping. Do a dry run with your panels by laying them out in the order you would like them installed beforehand, so you never have to hunt for the right plank. Have fun and let your creativity flow. The product was easy to install and the adhesive strips are strong. The only problem is not with the product but with the in unevenness of the wall you install it on. Most walls are not perfectly flat or straight so it might be smart to line the panels up before pulling the backing off the adhesive strips and see if it will work. Just pull a small potion of the backing off the adhesive they won’t fall and you could remove it as well. Also, you will need to know how to cut around wall sockets and switches. Luckily the panels are easy to cut with a jug saw and/or rotary saw.

I'd like to start out by saying that I have bought A LOT of wood wall panels from various vendors on Amazon, as well as on Wayfair in the last couple of months desperately trying to find the color I was looking for. The problem I kept running into was that every vendor said their product was "dark grey" but NONE of them actually were. I purchased the WoodyWalls Peel and Stick Wood Planks to go with the "dark grey" panels that I never found. So, we had to take a different route, but that was no fault on this product, as they were the only ones to get their colors right.I purchased the WoodyWalls Peel and Stick Planks in Charcoal (Black). This product is as described on the site in both size and color (black). These panels have pretty strong adhesive tape on the back. If you make a mistake, be prepared to wreck the panel trying to rip it off. It can be done, but not without damaging the product extensively. Suffice to say, don't make a mistake and the adhesion works great. We stuck ours to light knockdown textured wall with no problems. The paneling hasn't come off the wall, and I don't see it happening in the near future either. If it does I'll come back and report, but also we'll just pop a few finishing nails in, problem solved. This product is really easy to install. I am a web designer and baker by trade, but 18 months building a house and then putting a few finishing touches on has taught me A LOT, but I still wouldn't throw myself in the DIYer category, and yet I installed these panels in multiple areas within our house with zero problems (well at least with no problems that are the fault of this product). They are easy to cut and install. I cut the lengths with a compound miter saw (my first time using the saw), easy peasy.I knocked off a star because (1) a good number of these panels were warped. They have channels cut into the backs of them that are supposed to help with the warping. These particular panels' channels are shallower than the other brands I purchased and used, which must account for the fact that this brand was the only one that I saw warpage in. (2) These are pricer than the other brands that I purchased and they are a tinge lesser in quality (see reason 1).All that being said (deep breath), these did the job and look very nice. I definitely recommend them! The photo I attached shows many different panels, the black ones are this particular brand and review.

Great product easy to install fast shipping. Just a tip, paint the wall black first before you install the wood because walls are not straight and if you look really hard you can see small gaps.

Looks great in a recently remodeled bathroom. We used this instead of a backsplash to add some texture variety. We applied a matte lacquer over the top to ensure longevity and so far so good.Update on 10/3/20:This is still looking great in our bathroom, and we actually bought more to use in our bedroom! Love this stuff.
