Can you install Woodywalls in a bathroom?

If you wish to use our products in rooms that can become damp (e.g. a bathroom), you need additional adhesive such as liquid nails. Avoid areas such as shower walls/saunas where panels could be directly exposed to moisture.

Can you install WoodyWalls near heat or a fireplace?

Woodywalls panels can be installed around a code-approved fireplace as long as the surface you are applying panels to is not exposed to combustible materials.

What is the fire resistance rating?

Our Peel and Stick wood panels have Class C fire rating, under ASTM 84.

Are planks eco-friendly?

All our products are eco-friendly and responsibly sourced, fully recyclable and 100% free of harmful pollutants. We always use only non-toxic adhesives and VOC-free paints.

How many square feet do I need to order?

Multiply the length times the width of a wall (in feet) to figure out the square footage of the area. We recommend adding 5% waste factor in your calculations when ordering.

How much does it cost to ship?

We offer free U.S. shipping.

Can I install planks as flooring?

WoodyWalls planks are not suitable to be installed as flooring.

Can I order mix and match planks?

Do I need to acclimate planks?

Allow planks to acclimate by placing them in the area you are installing for 48-72 hours prior to installation.

What surfaces WoodyWalls can be installed on?

WoodyWalls planks can be installed on variety of surfaces such as walls, doors, backsplashes, kitchen cabinets, ceilings and headboards.

How much do I need to order?

First, calculate the square footage of you of the area you planning to transform by multiplying the height and widths of the area in inches. Then simply divide the sum by 144. Also we recommend ordering 5% extra for trimming.

What is the estimated time of delivery?  *

Our accent wall paneling is always in stock, new orders are typically shipped within 2 business days (excluding holidays) We ship orders via UPS ground. Delivery times vary depending on the location. Click here to check the transit time for your wood walls. *

Do you make custom size wood wall panels?

We don’t currently offer our decorative wood panels for walls in custom sizes. However, our wood panelling is sliced precisely to ensure seamless fits.

What is your Return Policy? *

If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you can return our wood wall panels within 30 days of delivery by filling out a return form. *


Please note, decorative wood panels for walls must be unused and returned in full, in the original packaging. You will be responsible to cover return shipping costs. Refunds are processed once the return is delivered at our warehouse. Refunds may take up to 5 business days to reflect on your account.

No glue or nails needed. Each board comes with self-adhesive tape.

How to clean peel-and-stick panels?

WoodyWalls Planks are made from real wood materials, the use of dry cloth should be the primary method of cleaning. Do not use any abrasive cleaners, polishes, wax or oil-based products on your wall.

How long will it stick?

WoodyWalls panels will stick until you decide to remodel again. The adhesive is rated for 10 years.

Do Peel and Stick Wood Panels Damage Walls?

Woody Walls peel and stick panels utilize semi-permanent self-adhesive tape for their application. If you choose to remove Woody Walls panels, you will need to pry them from the wall. Once the planks are detached, the adhesive will need to be removed from the work surface, and some minor repairs may need to be made. To reduce damage, we recommend installing plywood on the wall before your Woody Walls installation. This way, you won’t have to repair your entire wall after removal, only the areas where the holes were drilled.

Definitely, We recommend you add extra adhesion to the back of the stick on wood planks, a few drops of liquid nails should do the trick.

How does the peel and stick wood arrive?

Each box contains 12 peel and stick wood planks measuring 46.45" height x 5.04" in width and 0.18” in thickness, depending on how many boxes you order we may ship single boxes in one large box.

What kind of wood are the peel and stick wall panels?

WoodyWalls Peel and stick wall panels are made of North American Pine wood.

What kind of adhesive is used for the peel and stick wood?

Our peel and stick wood planks have high quality 3M tape strips on the back of each wood wall panel, ready for you to simply peel and stick!

Can peel and stick planks be sealed? 

Yes, our peel and stick wood planks may be sealed, however, there is a slight chance the shade of color will change. If you plan to seal the wood wall panels, we strongly advise you try it on a sample first to see if the color works for you, prior to installation.

How can I cover exposed corner edges with peel and stick wood planks?

We suggest cutting the wood wall panels that will be on the edge at a 45 degree angle, they will come together like a puzzle.

How thick are the peel and stick wall panels?

Each peel and stick wood plank is about 4/16” thick and comes in a variety of finishes.

How many boxes of peel and stick wood planks do I need to order?

Depending on each project, we suggest calculating the square footage of the area you plan to transform with peel and stick wood, by multiplying the height and width of the area (in inches) Then divide the sum by 144. We recommend ordering an extra 5% for trimming..

Could I use peel and stick wall paneling on my tabletop?

We do not recommend our peel and stick planks to be used as tabletops, since they are thin wood planks they might not hold much weight on them which would break them over time.

Can peel and stick wall panels be applied over tile?

Yes, our peel and stick wood can be applied over tile. It is important to be sure the application surface is flat, completely dry and clear of dust/debris to ensure proper adhesion. Please avoid areas such as shower walls/saunas where wood wall panels could be directly exposed to moisture.

Can peel and stick reclaimed wood be used over popcorn ceilings?

Yes, peel and stick planks may be used over popcorn ceilings, however, we recommend adding extra adhesive (liquid nails or construction glue) to the back of the wood panelling for extra security.

Can I install peel and stick wood outdoors?

Peel and stick wall panels are strictly designed to reside indoors.

Can peel and stick shiplap planks be removed after a while?

Yes, you can definitely remove our peel and stick wood. However, depending on your wall, it might take off paint or drywall because the 3M adhesive is very strong.
 
If you plan to remove the peel and stick wall panels, our recommendation prior to installation is to first install plywood to the surface you want to cover, then apply our peel and stick wood planks on the plywood. This way, instead of having to repair the entire wall once you remove it, you'd only have to fix the areas where the holes were nailed.

Should I paint my wall prior to installing peel and stick planks?

We only recommend doing this if your wall is a lighter shade than your peel and stick wood planks, we suggest painting the wall a color that is very similar to the wood wall paneling you order.

Is peel and stick wood flooring?

No, our peel and stick wood is not to be used as flooring, as the peel and stick wood planks are too thin, they would not be able to hold a lot of weight.

Can I cut the peel and stick wall panels if I need a shorter length?

Yes, the most effective way to cut Woody Walls peel and stick wood is by simply using a miter saw. You can also use a utility knife, jigsaw or a fine toothed hand saw. Just make sure the blades are sharp enough to get a clean cut.

Even though our reclaimed wood wall planks are made of 100% real wood, they are not suitable to be used as flooring. Despite our wall panels durable and long-lasting design, they are not rated to be used as flooring. This makes reclaimed wood planks a poor choice for the task.

Yes, our reclaimed wood panels can be used as a backsplash. Please make sure your wall does not exceed 9% moisture content, prior to installation. Please make sure it is not directly in contact with running water.

What can I use to cover the exposed edges of my reclaimed wood wall?  *

Our reclaimed wood wall collection has wood corner trims to match along, which you may view by visiting our wood corner trim section *

How thick are the reclaimed wood planks?

Our reclaimed wood walls are about ¼” thick.

Can I use reclaimed barnwood wall panels as my tabletop?

We do not recommend using our reclaimed barn wood walls to be used as tabletops, as they come from knockdown barns, the barnwood planks may develop splinters overtime.

Certainly! You may remove the reclaimed wood wall. However, you may need to make a few repairs to the drywall when you move out. If you plan to remove your reclaimed wood wall, our recommendation is to only use 18 gauge brad nails, this will make the removal process a breeze and you will have less damage to repair.

Do I need to  paint the wall prior to installing reclaimed wood planks?

Depending on the reclaimed wood wall you choose, for example if your wall is a light color and your wood panelling is a darker shade, then we recommend you paint your wall a color close enough to the color of your reclaimed wood panelling.
